Backup & Restore Products

Overview

The Backup & Restore Products add-on by Shipturtle ensures that all your deleted products are automatically backed up and can be restored within 7 days. This helps protect your data and gives you peace of mind.


How to Activate the Plan

Follow these steps to activate the Backup & Restore Products add-on:

  1. Navigate to the Billing and Subscription page in your Shipturtle dashboard.

  2. Find the Backup & Restore Products card under the Add-on by Shipturtle section.

  3. Click Next, which will redirect you to the Shopify billing page.

  4. Approve the cost on Shopify's billing page.

    • Once approved, your plan will be activated.


How Does It Work?

  • When you delete a product, a backup of the product is automatically created.

  • This backup includes all details, meta fields, and images of the deleted product.

  • The backup is stored for 7 days. After that, it will be deleted permanently. To increase storage duration or capacity, please contact our Sales Team.


How to Delete and Restore Products

Deleting Products

  1. Select the product(s) you wish to delete.

  2. Use the Delete action:

    • For individual products, click the Delete option.

    • For multiple products, go to Bulk Actions > Delete.

Restoring Products

  • Deleted products can be restored either:

    • Individually: Click the Restore icon next to each product.

    • In Bulk: Select multiple products and restore them all at once.


Where to Find Deleted Products

If you have the Manage Product Module active, follow these steps to locate deleted products:

  1. Go to the 3-dot icon dropdown menu in the Manage Product section.

  2. Select Deleted Products.


Deleted Products Page

  • This page displays all deleted products from the last 7 days.

  • Actions you can take:

    • Restore products individually using the Restore icon.

    • Restore products in bulk by selecting them and clicking Restore.
