Merchants control what vendors can change regarding products. This setting can be accessed through: Settings > Multivendor settings > Product Settings.

If any boxes are checked, then those items will come for merchant approval in the "Product approval" tab. While adding a product, vendors will see an icon beside each field that requires approval.
Approve vendor adds and edits.
Merchants can view, Approve, Edit, and Delete vendor products that have come for their approval by navigating to Products>Approve Products
Merchants/Vendors can also add remarks in Edit
